Potomac River Running, Inc. announces a weekend 'New Location Celebration" to commemorate the official opening of its fourth running specialty store in Northern Virginia. The Potomac River Running Store in the Ballston section of Arlington, joins Potomac River Running's Ashburn, Burke, and Reston Town Center locations in serving the Virginia suburbs. The store is located at 3924 Wilson Boulevard, adjacent to Conte's Bike Shop and just across from Gold's Gym in Ballston.

This weekend all Potomac River Running stores will celebrate with in-store promotions. Customers shopping at all locations will receive a =PR= technical shirt with purchase.

The new Arlington location will also have raffles and other giveaways, including free shoes from Saucony, and a Grand Prize just-released Garmin Forerunner 405. Every customer will be entered when making a purchase!

=PR= Arlington now offers the excellent customer service and video gait analysis that customers have come to identify with Potomac River Running at a Metro-accessible location inside the Beltway. "For the past five years, we have had customers asking when we might extend our reach closer in to the city," explained co-owner, Brendan Shapiro. He continued, "The partnership with Conte's Bike Shop is an exciting opportunity - the excellent location just a block from the Ballston mall; the ample free customer parking in an area known for parking challenges; and the convenience for multi-sport athletes who can make just one stop for all their training needs made Arlington an excellent addition for our business."

The Arlington store provides Potomac River Running another location to serve DC area running, walking, and multisport communities and continue outreach programs to charity teams in training, corporate fitness and training programs, and youth athletes. It also will enable the company to further develop the Arlington-based training programs it has offered since 2001 through PR Running Club, a division of PR Training Programs, LLC. The store will also host group monthly seminars as well as All-Comer's Runs on Monday evenings at 6:30 PM, monthly post- run happy hours, and other regular social events in partnership with Conte's Bike Shop.
