Ragnar Relay
182-miles from Cumberland, MD to Washington, DC

The early entry deadline for the inaugural Ragnar Relay Series
team event from Cumberland, MD to Washington, DC is May 31.
The 182-mile relay, scheduled for September 26-27, 2008, is a
non-stop race beginning in Cumberland on the C&O Canal Towpath
and ending in the heart of the nation's capital. Team captains
must register their teams by May 31 and pay the $960 entry fee,
a breakdown of $80 for each of the 12 runners on the team.
After May 31, the cost increases to $1,140, or $95 per runner.
Teams consist of 12 runners - male, female or co-ed. Each
runner completes three nonconsecutive legs along the towpath.
Each leg measures between 2.8 and 9.2 miles. Cumulative
distances for each runner range between 12.7 and 18.9 miles.
