The Reston Runners' Annual Spring into Summer Women's Distance Festival will take place on Saturday, June 28th in Reston, VA. This female only event is known for its great fun and includes a tastefully decorated, scenic 5K run or walk on a course adorned with handsome, cheering men. The "bling" for each participant is unmatched. All registrants get a commemorative race item, socks, and other surprises. All finishers get a hat. Post race food is bountiful and a DJ complements the festive atmosphere. It is a wonderful event for both beginning and experienced runners. Awards are presented to all age group winners and mother-daughter and grandmother-mother- granddaughter winning teams.
