Spring's premier running event, "The Pike's Peek 10K" will be held Sunday, April 25, 2004, in Rockville, Maryland. The USATF certified course begins at Shady Grove Metro Station and finishes at White Flint. If you're looking for a PR, this is your event!

To kick off of the 9th running of the Pike's Peek 10K, the Montgomery County Road Runners Club is offering an online early bird registration special. Those registering online from November 1, through December 31, 2003, can do so for a fee of $15 (plus on-line service fee). The Pike's Peek 10K is conducted by the Montgomery County Road Runners Club, Rockville, Maryland. Event proceeds benefit the Montgomery County and Rockville Youth Recreation Funds and the Scleroderma Foundation of Greater Washington, DC.
