ZOOMA Annapolis Half Marathon & 10K, a ZOOMA Women's Race Series event, represents a new concept in running races designed to inspire women to lead healthy lives with more perks and bigger parties. ZOOMA half marathon and 10K races create a unique "girls' weekend" atmosphere to encourage women to train for and accomplish challenging fitness goals. ZOOMA Annapolis Half Marathon & 10K, the first event of the national series, takes place in Annapolis, MD on June 1, 2008 and will include a half-marathon, 10K with separate jogging stroller division, and kids' fun run. Runners will start at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium and run through scenic Annapolis, entertained and cheered on by their families, neighborhood groups, and local spirit squads. Runners will be able to see themselves on the Stadium jumbo-tron as they cross the finish line on the 50-yard line of the field.
