ZOOMA Annapolis Half Marathon & 10K Announces Thanksgiving Giveaway

With the hope of giving runners a little extra motivation to
run off second helpings of turkey, stuffing, and sweet potato
pie, ZOOMA Annapolis Half Marathon & 10K today announced a
Thanksgiving giveaway for participants who register for the
June 1, 2008 event. Participants who register before Sunday,
November 25 will be entered into a drawing to win valuable
prizes that will help in training during the winter months. A
quarter-zip hoodie with a patented pocket for holding cell
phone, mp3 player, ID, or keys is being offered by gracie's gear and training.

Stadium after the race.
ZOOMA Annapolis Half Marathon & 10K, a ZOOMA Women's Race
Series event, represents a new concept in running races
designed to inspire women to lead healthy lives with more perks
and bigger parties. ZOOMA half marathon and 10K races create a
unique "girls' weekend" atmosphere to encourage women to train
for and accomplish challenging fitness goals. ZOOMA Annapolis
Half Marathon & 10K, the first event of the national series,
takes place in Annapolis, MD on June 1, 2008 and will include a
half-marathon, 10K with separate jogging stroller division, and
kids' fun run. Runners will start at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial
Stadium and run through scenic Annapolis, entertained and
cheered on by their families, neighborhood groups, and local
spirit squads. Runners will be able to see themselves on the
Stadium jumbo-tron as they cross the finish line on the 50-yard
line of the field.
ZOOMA events will be rolled out in cities across the U.S.
beginning with the first event in Annapolis, MD on June 1,
