Cash Prizes Offered!
For the second consecutive year, Loudoun Country Day School's 10K, the Robert W. Swezey Memorial Wings Over Loudoun, will be offering cash prizes for first, second, and third place overall men and women. First place winners will receive $500.00, second place winners will receive $250.00, and third place winners will receive $100.00. Age group winners will each receive an engraved trophy commemorating their victory. All One Mile Fun Run participants will receive a commemorative ribbon and a custom-made prize.

Late registration and packet pickup takes place at the Loudoun Country Day School, 237 Fairview St NW in Leesburg:

Friday, October 24 3:00 - 7:00 pm
Saturday, October 25 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
Sunday, October 26 7:00 - 8:45 am

This year's race is a memorial to Dr. Robert W. Swezey who lost his battle to cancer in November of 2002. A nationally recognized industrial/organizational psychologist, Dr. Swezey was the founder and president of InterScience America, Inc. An avid runner, he participated in many 10K races, and ran in Wings Over Loudoun 10K since its inception. Dr. Swezey was also a loyal supporter of Loudoun Country Day School and two of his daughters are LCDS graduates. His wife also worked as a classroom aide at the school for 12 years. Dr. Swezey's family is proud to be the Grand Sponsor of the 2003 Wings Over Loudoun 10K and One Mile Fun Run.

Proceeds from the ChampionChip timed race will benefit the American Cancer Society and the Loudoun Country Day School Athletic Funds.

The Robert W. Swezey Memorial Wings Over Loudoun 10K and One Mile Fun Run will be held at Loudoun Country Day School, 237 Fairview Street, NW, Leesburg, Virginia 20176. The 10K will begin at 9:00 am and the One Mile Fun Run will begin at 9:10. For information, call 703-777-3841.
