Washington, DC
For the Washington Running Report

DC Front Runners is hosting a special "Welcome Newcomers and New Members Walk/Run" Saturday morning, October 13, 2007. The club encourages all people who are interested in running and walking with DC Front Runners to join us for this special event. The run/walk will meet at the corner of 23rd and P St NW (Shevchenko Park) near Washington DC's Dupont Circle.

The walk starts at 9:30 am and run begins at 10:00 am. Our guests will have an opportunity to experience a walk or run along our regular 3, 4, or 6 mile Rock Creek Park route, meet our club members and learn more about our club's various activities. All are welcome to participate regardless of age, pace, sexual orientation or running experience.

For further information, please send an e-mail to Blake Rushin and Alex Rodriguez at or visit www.dcfrontrunners.org
