Washington RunHers Winter Maintenance Program

A winter running program designed to help those women who would
like to maintain or improve their conditioning. The weekly
workouts coached by Alicia Robinson-Morgan, RunHers Board
Member, will include drills, pick-ups, pace work, resistance
and strength training. The workouts are designed to improve
your running form, focus, speed, and your overall strength. The
program is designed to accommodate runners of all abilities who
are running on a regular basis. It is a great way to improve
your running during the colder months with the camaraderie of
your fellow RunHers. Alicia promises that the workouts will be
spirited, challenging, and fun. For more information about Alicia, check out her web page
. WHEN:Tuesdays at 6:15 p.m. Starting November 13,
2007, and continuing until February 26, 2008. A group warm-up
jog will begin promptly at 6:15; the workout will end at 8:00
p.m. WHERE: The program will meet Tuesdays on the national
Mall on the gravel pathway behind the American History Museum
on Madison Street. There is plenty of free parking on the
roads along side of the mall. The Smithsonian metro stop is a
short jog from the meeting location. COST: The cost for the program is $90. This is a one
time non-refundable fee for RunHers members. Checks should be
made payable to the Washington RunHers. Please fill out a
registration form, which is available on the Washington RunHers
