The Van Metre 5 Mile Run for Children's Hospital, which takes place in Ashburn, Virginia, is happy to announce that it has partnered with the Potomac River Running store in Ashburn to offer a new pre-registration location and date! Runners may register for the October 9th event at either of two locations.

This is the 13th annual race, which is a major fundraiser for Children's Hospital in Washington, DC. This festive, family-oriented event offers cash prizes for the overall winners of the 5-mile race and is famous for having a ton of great random prizes. This year, the prizes include a 27" TV, Redskins tickets, golf at Raspberry Falls, a weekend at Wintergreen resort, golf at Lansdowne resort, and many gift certificates from local spas and restaurants.

The event includes a one-mile fun run/walk and a generous post-race brunch. Join the Van Metre Companies in the Broadlands subdivision of Ashburn on Saturday, October 9 for a fun family event!
