Elite Sportsclub Network Signs Three-Year Deal with Baltimore Running Festival
Company agrees to be title sponsor of the Health & Fitness Expo through 2008

Corrigan Sports Enterprises (CSE) announced today that Elite
Sportsclub Network (ESN) has signed a three-year deal to be the
title sponsor of the Health & Fitness Expo. The two-day expo
event that kicks off the Under Armour Baltimore Running Festival
will now be known as The Elite Sportsclub Network Health &
Fitness Expo through 2008.
The 2006 Elite Sportsclub Network Health & Fitness Expo will
take place on Thursday, October 12 from noon to 9:00 p.m. and
Friday, October 13 from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. at M&T Bank
Stadium. The expo is the headquarters for packet and chip pick-
up and includes exhibits, information booths on the latest
technology, health care products, and programs and stores
featuring great deals on everything a runner would need.
As part of the agreement, ESN will be included in all
promotional items ranging from flyers to promotional spots. In
addition, the four-person team relay will have a special
division known as the ESN Club Championship. ESN will conduct a
morning stretch on race day and seminars and screenings during
the two-day expo. They will also provide memberships and passes
to be used as prizes and for promotional purposes.
The Elite Sportsclub Network was formed in 2005 and consists of
the following health clubs: The Arena Club, The Columbia
Association Clubs, LifeBridge Health &Fitness, Maryland Athletic
Club & Wellness Center (MAC) and Merritt Athletic Clubs. The
partnership allows members of participating ESN Clubs to enjoy
reciprocal use of other ESN clubs as well as discounts at a
variety of ESN affiliate organizations including golf courses
and other active lifestyle businesses.
The 2006 Under Armour Baltimore Running Festival, which consists
of the Under Armour Baltimore Marathon, CareFirst BlueCross
BlueShield Half-Marathon, United Way 5K, Legg Mason Funds Team
Relay and Kids' Fun Run, will take place on Saturday, October
14, 2006 at M&T Bank Stadium. The event, now in its sixth year,
has generated more than 60 million dollars in revenue for the
city and more than 2.5 million dollars for local charities.
Race numbers are up for the fourth-straight year as the event
looks to pass the 11,000 registration mark. The half-marathon
has been sold out for a month and several of the other races are
close to reaching their capacity.
The Under Armour Baltimore Running Festival is produced by
Corrigan Sports Enterprises, a leader in sports promotions in
the Baltimore/Washington D.C. region. Founded in 1991, CSE owns
and operates the following events: Under Armour Baltimore
Marathon, The Charm City Challenge All-Star Basketball Game, The
Capital Classic, the Toyota Pro Beach Volleyball Tour, the
Thrash & Jam Tour presented by Slammers Ultimate Milk and the
annual Baltimore BikeJam eve.
