Corrigan Sports Enterprises (CSE) announced today that Elite Sportsclub Network (ESN) has signed a three-year deal to be the title sponsor of the Health & Fitness Expo. The two-day expo event that kicks off the Under Armour Baltimore Running Festival will now be known as The Elite Sportsclub Network Health & Fitness Expo through 2008.

The 2006 Elite Sportsclub Network Health & Fitness Expo will take place on Thursday, October 12 from noon to 9:00 p.m. and Friday, October 13 from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. at M&T Bank Stadium. The expo is the headquarters for packet and chip pick- up and includes exhibits, information booths on the latest technology, health care products, and programs and stores featuring great deals on everything a runner would need.

As part of the agreement, ESN will be included in all promotional items ranging from flyers to promotional spots. In addition, the four-person team relay will have a special division known as the ESN Club Championship. ESN will conduct a morning stretch on race day and seminars and screenings during the two-day expo. They will also provide memberships and passes to be used as prizes and for promotional purposes.

The Elite Sportsclub Network was formed in 2005 and consists of the following health clubs: The Arena Club, The Columbia Association Clubs, LifeBridge Health &Fitness, Maryland Athletic Club & Wellness Center (MAC) and Merritt Athletic Clubs. The partnership allows members of participating ESN Clubs to enjoy reciprocal use of other ESN clubs as well as discounts at a variety of ESN affiliate organizations including golf courses and other active lifestyle businesses.

The 2006 Under Armour Baltimore Running Festival, which consists of the Under Armour Baltimore Marathon, CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield Half-Marathon, United Way 5K, Legg Mason Funds Team Relay and Kids' Fun Run, will take place on Saturday, October 14, 2006 at M&T Bank Stadium. The event, now in its sixth year, has generated more than 60 million dollars in revenue for the city and more than 2.5 million dollars for local charities. Race numbers are up for the fourth-straight year as the event looks to pass the 11,000 registration mark. The half-marathon has been sold out for a month and several of the other races are close to reaching their capacity. The Under Armour Baltimore Running Festival is produced by Corrigan Sports Enterprises, a leader in sports promotions in the Baltimore/Washington D.C. region. Founded in 1991, CSE owns and operates the following events: Under Armour Baltimore Marathon, The Charm City Challenge All-Star Basketball Game, The Capital Classic, the Toyota Pro Beach Volleyball Tour, the Thrash & Jam Tour presented by Slammers Ultimate Milk and the annual Baltimore BikeJam eve.
