Anacostia Park

Anacostia Park

A riverside park in southeast Washington, DC with views of the marina and Washington Monument

Just twenty minutes from the Washington, DC Convention Center and the heart of town, (see driving directions)
Anacostia Park is a ribbon of green along both banks of the Anacostia River. The park features an open-air roller skating rink, an Aquatic Resources Education Center, an indoor swimming pool and fitness facility, playgrounds, and lots of room for ballfields, running, biking, picnicing, and fishing. Views of the Washington Monument, Washington Navy Yard, and the U.S. Capitol Building tie this park to the capital city.

See the 5K course map.
