Happy and Healthy
Top photo: Survivors in pink often take a cheerful approach in the battle against cancer.

First photo below: These friends ran stride for stride together as they approached the finish line.

Second photo: A slender woman finished amongst some muscular men.

Third photo: The finish straight became a bit more crowded after 24 minutes.

Runners of All Ages and Walkers Too
First photo: Teenagers ran to express friendship and love for family or acquaintances.

Second photo: A separate, shorter route allowed walkers to engage in the event.

Third photo: Sponsors provided post-run refreshments on the Mall near the beautiful new National Museum of American Indians.

Fourth photo: Yoplait yogurt is offered to finishers as young musicians performed on stage.

Results are usually available in mid-June.
