Top photo: Jon Schoenberg, 40 of Crofton, MD looks fast and runs
fast too--his 35:00 positioned him in fourth place. He
represented a talented Annapolis Striders team.
Second photo: Near the front of a fast women's group, Jacqueline
Concaugh, 29, of Alexandria, VA finished second in 37:37 despite
a long shift at work. Desire makes her unstoppable!
Third photo: Finishers in the 10K run approach the finish line
under a canopy of trees. Dale Learn of Senator Murray's office
organized "Running Divas and Dudes," who surfed quickly to the
end. "Team Donut" brought up the rear, and a friendly dozen and
a half runners from the FBI Academy all finished the run.

Middle photo: The Capitol Hill Classic 3K takes off from the
starting line. 86 males and 92 females finished the shorter
event, and many of the participants were school students. Half
the fun of this annual event is watching the youth participate!
Third photo: Marine Corps Marathon Hall of Famer Jim Hage, 46 of
Kensington, claimed second with his time of 34:48. Cool shades
under a bright sun.

finished a few seconds after Dopart.
Third photo: Folks from Annapolis drove over to participate in a
Sunday morning run for a good cause. Brooks Sherman (#2188), 53,
and Christian Zazzali (#2187, to the right), 39, started
together but Sherman took off to finish in 42:32. Zazzali stayed
the course and completed his run 17 minutes after Sherman.
Final photo: DC Front Runners invited their friends from New
York City; Kevin Brewer, 42, placed eighth with his worthy
effort of 36:23.
