Runners make the turn to start the second loop.

  1. Ranked Runner Gurmesa Kumsa (27) of Oxon Hill, MD was moving so fast that a second shot of him approaching the finish just caught breeze. His winning time was 30:55. He began the period hosing the field at the Alexandria Turkey Trot 5M in 23:39.

  2. Ranked Runner Steven Crane (25) of Alexandria, VA just did break the 5:00 pace with an excellent 31:04. He won the Home Run 10K in 30:43 last fall.

  3. Ranked Runner Michael Wardian (33) of Arlington, VA is fourth overall in 31:35. Right after the finish he was seen putting in additional miles, probably for another marathon.

  1. Ranked Runner Pat MacAdie (27) of Washington, DC returns after being absent since his glorious spring of 2006 where he ran Cherry Blossom in 50:17 and Sallie Mae in 31:00 as well as finishing runner-up at St. Patrick's Day 8K in 24:32.

  2. Ranked Runner Bert Rodriguez (27) of Arlington, VA runs 32:08 for sixth place. He has already won two races and finished second this winter.

  3. Ranked Runner Jason Dwyer (27) of Bethesda, MD earned lucky in 32:10, his best effort since October 2006 when he was runner-up at the Home Run 10K in 31:42.

  1. Ranked Runner Jake Klim (26) of North Bethesda, MD finished in a flurry with 32:13. Last fall he had his best effort with a 53:25 at Army.

  2. Chris Farley (30) of Arlington, VA ran mostly alone, finishing in 33:12. Though he has not raced much lately he did finish well at the Alexandria Turkey Trot 5M with 25:37 in the fall.

  3. Ranked Runner Tim Fahey (33) of Alexandria, VA already has a solid winter going, adding a 33:50 finish for 12th place.
