1. Soon to be master Mark Hand (39) of Arlington, VA holds of soon to be grandmaster Bruce Halpin by a six pack of seconds in 1:29:44 for the third overall spot.


2. Karsten Brown (31) Front Royal, VA in "shorts!" and gloves is number nine in 1:36:15.


3. After the race, runners are "corralled" with chairs so that they can sit down and take their Championchips out of their showlaces.
