1. Packet pick-up was held in the scenic Washington Harbour area of Georgetown, right along the Potomac River.
2. A barbershop quartet entertained runners before the race.
3. Runners milled about the plaza picking up goodies from race sponsors.

5. A pre-race warm-up was lead by The Seargant's Program.

1. Thomas McCarney (27) of Arlington, VA finishes the race in 9th place with a time of 33:47.
2. Fairfax, VA's Brian Dumm (21) leads runners to the finish. Dumm finishes the race in 34:03, taking 10th place.
3. Dave Berardi (42) of Baltimore, MD finished 12th with a time of 34:12.
4. The first female finisher was Tatyana Maslova (36, in blue) of Gaithersburg, MD, with a time of 35:23.
