1. Silas Kiplagat, 23 of Poland, Ohio, finished second with a time of 2:33:39

2. Patty Fulton claimed the Women's second place by running 3:05:33. Fulton lives in Silver Spring and is 36 years old.

3. Another long distance traveler, Vikki McKane placed third among women with 3:08:09. McKane is 32 years old and hails from Albany, New York.

1. Michael Wardian, 28, was the fourth Marathon finisher and clocked 2:35:19. Wardian lives in Arlington, Virginia.

2. This year, Mark Hoon of Kensington, age 38, ran 2:36:44 and placed fourth.

3. Running strong to the finish, John Piggott of Williamsburg, Virginia, completed the scenic course in 2:41:47. Piggott is 37 years old.

4. Frederick, Maryland resident Linda Boring, age 38, placed sixth by running 3:17:10.

1. Built to fly along the course at age 31, Baltimore resident Tim Knowlton ran 2:44:08 for eighth place.

2. April Lynn Marko of Cheshire, age 24, stopped the clock at 3:23:56.

3. With a smile on his face, 25-year-old Christopher Bain of Rockville merited a ten (place). 2:45:58 was his time to complete the splashy course.
