  1. Pamenos Ballantyne (32) of the West Indies (#517) came home after near 10 miles in 53:22. His resume includes three overall wins at the Reggae Marathon ('01, '03-'04), 3rd place at Bermuda, and a 2:23:18 at the Helsinki Marathon in August. In 2000, he ran in the Olympics in 2:19:08.

  2. Meg Lambke (41) of Leesburg, VA is the first woman to cross the finish line.

  3. Matt Moline (22) Herndon, VA was the first runner across the finish line.

  2. Karen Young (37) of Boyds, MD (#153) ran 64 races last year 10K or longer, including 40 10Ks.
