1. Susannah Kvasnicka (30) of Great Falls, VA bettered her winning time of last year by 22 seconds, finishing in 39:21 for first place among women.


2. Richard Adams, Jr. (#316) of Herndon leads Lee Moeser and Richard Morgan up the hill to the finish.


3. Rose Moeser (21) of Sterling matched her dad's place, finishing fourth for women in 48:31.


4. Holly Kearl (19, left) of Leesburg and Maureen Lopina (42) of Herndon charge up the hill to the finish. Lopina finished 11th, just one second ahead of Kearl.
