  1. John Sellinger, Jr of Leesburg (#81) would run an 8:19 pace for a 51:25 finish time.

  2. Joe Spicer of Purcellville (#427) embarks on his 10K Resolution Run.

  1. James Baker of McLean, VA was 8th overall in 37:23.

  2. Bruce Halpin of Ashburn, VA ran a 6:20 pace, good for 15th place.

  3. Patrick Horan flew in from Hawaii and took the prize for the person who travelled the farthest, and ran 41:04 to start his New Year.

  1. Liisi Linask of Rockville, MD was the 2nd woman finisher, running 43:44.

  2. Haymarket's Kathy Daunt was joined by her son as she approached the finish, but he couldn't keep up. Mom finished 4th overall in 45:28.

  3. RSL's Maureen Lopina of Herndon, VA took 2nd in her age group with her 47:43.

  1. Herndon's Richard Adams, Jr. ran 39:23 for 2nd in his age group.

  2. Kevin Kunkel of Reston managed a 6:41 pace and placed 25th among men.

  3. Adrian Shamsudeen of Herndon, VA finished in 44:14.

  2. Ample food and beverages were available in the gym.
