Just over 2,000 runners came out for this event despite the high humidity and record-breaking heat. Some of the runners take off at the start of the race. Immediately after the start of the 10K, there was a fun run for the kids.

1. Ted Poulos (41) and Robert Schneider (26) ran a close race. Poulos finished in 26th place, Schneider just behind in 28th.
2. Joel Dawson (16) and Jay Wind (53) got off to a great start. Dawson finished in 42:15, Wind in 42:21.
3. Robert Trost (56) and Betty Blank (50) run a close race - Trost finishes in 146th place overall, Blank in 152nd.
4. Arlington, VA's Susan Maher (36) leads a pack of runners out on the course.
5. A patriotic runner - Ray DeFrees shows his American spirit out on the course!
