Registration

Entry fee: $21 through December 31, 2007. January 1 through February 18, $26; February 19 through March 6, $30; race weekend March 7-9, $35.

Register On-line: It is quick and easy, and you will receive an instant confirmation of your entry.

Printable Entry Form: Print the form, fill it out, and mail or fax it in.

ChampionChip owners may deduct $2 from the entry fee by providing their personal 7-character ChampionChip identification number with their entry.

On-Site Registration: Register in person or pick up your packet Friday, March 7 and Saturday March 8 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm at the Old Post Office Pavilion, (12th & Pennsylvania Ave, NW), on the upper balcony.

Race day registration and packet pick-up will open at 7:00 am in a tent on Pennsylvania Avenue near Freedom Plaza (between 13th and 14th Streets).

To get directly to the start/finish lines, take the Red, Blue or Orange Line to Metro Center. Exit on 12th or 13th Street and walk south to Pennsylvania Avenue. Or, take the Blue or Orange Line to the Federal Triangle station just across the street from Freedom Plaza and the Old Post Office Pavilion.

Please pick up your bib, Chip, and t-shirt on Friday or Saturday if possible and make your race experience a pleasant one!

The race will begin at 9:00 am.

Pre-registered runners should confirm their entry and note their bib number prior to coming to pick up. Do not forget to take a look at the lists of registered runners for your bib number, and to make sure your information is accurate.

Transfers: Capital Running Company does allow transfers of entries among runners. The registered runner should contact us as soon as possible and no later than Tuesday, March 4, ( office@runwashington.com) with information on the substitute runner: name, mailing address, age, gender, and e-mail address. Please specify bib number, name of event, and name of the original registrant.

We do allow runners to pick up bibs and T-shirts for their friends. Please note that T-shirts cannot be mailed. However, it is strongly recommended that you pick up your own rental ChampionChip on race morning. Each runner is responsible for returning the Chip assigned to him/her.

We only require that the proper communication occur so that you and your friend(s) are aware of the arrangement and can find each other on race day (or before). It is hard to find an individual in a crowd that size!
