To register by mail or fax, print an Entry Form, fill it out, and mail or fax it in. Or, bring it to on-site registration on Friday or Saturday.
All registrants receive a long sleeve T-shirt with a colorful, patriotic design.
On-Site Registration:
Register in person or pick up your bib, T-shirt, goodie bag, and ChronoTrack timing tag in advance of race day.
On-site registration and packet pick-up will be held at the Old Post Office Pavilion, 1100 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW, Washington, DC 20004 on Friday, November 12, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm and on Saturday, November 13, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. MapQuest.
On race day, packet pick-up begins at 6:30 am in a tent near the start/finish line in West Potomac Park. In accordance with National Park Service regulations, no race-day registration is allowed. Register now!
Pre-registered runners should confirm their entry prior to coming to pick up. Do not forget to take a look at the list of registered runners for your bib number and to make sure your information is accurate.

The race will begin promptly at 8:00 am. The walk will begin approximately 8:05 am, or as soon as the 10K runners have cleared the start line.Transfers: Capital Running Company allows transfers of entries among runners. The registered runner should contact us as soon as possible and no later than Tuesday, November 9, via office@runwashington.com with information on the substitute runner: name, mailing address, age, sex, t-shirt size, phone number, and e-mail address. Please specify the bib number, name of event, and name of original registrant.
We allow runners to pick up bibs and T-shirts for their friends. Please note that T-shirts cannot be mailed. We only require that the proper communication occur so that you and your friend(s) are aware of the arrangement and can connect on race day (or before). It is hard to find an individual in a crowd.
