2023 Shenandoah River 5k, 10k, & Half

Come out and enjoy this scenic half-marathon, 10k and 5k in Shenandoah River State Park.  We have a hilly, paved 5k route with 200ft of elevation gain starting at 9:30am, and another 5k (trail, flatter) starting at 10:45am!

Walkers are welcome to attend this event.

Charity Information

Operation Enduring Warrior is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to honor, empower and motivate America’s wounded military service members. Our physical, mental and emotional rehabilitative cycle is modeled to overcome adversity and hardship through innovation, teamwork and perseverance; ultimately enabling Wounded Warriors’ lives to go in directions they once thought impossible.

Race Start Times

Hilly, Road 5k – 9:30am

Half – 9:30am (Half marathon has a time limit of 3:15 for completion)

10k – 10:30am

Trail 5k – 10:45am

Registration Fees

5k – $30, until Oct 15 ($35)

10k – $50, until Oct 15 ($55)

Half – $65, until Oct 15 ($70)

***Price will increase $5 on race day

T-shirts guaranteed to runners registered before Oct 25.  We will order extra t-shirts for those who register after that date, but it is on a first-come first-served basis.
