11:45 am Opening Ceremony – 12:00 pm Run and walk starts
The 5k run and walk starts at the Historic Congressional Cemetery, following the path near the Anacostia River for a safe, protected run and ends with the cheers of Special Olympics athletes as you cross the finish line!
Registration fee is $40 to receive a commemorative 2022 Special Olympics DC Law Enforcement Torch Run wicking tee shirt. Participants can raise more for Special Olympics DC through pledges and online fundraising. The run is led by local and federal law enforcement agencies but open to everyone!
