As darkness sweeps around the globe in mid-November, 25,000 people in 50 cities worldwide will get up from their armchairs, slip on their red flashing armbands and pull on their running shoes to complete a 5k or 10k run. Together, from Sydney to San Francisco, they will light up the night as they hit the road to Run in the Dark. Run in the Dark is the Mark Pollock Trust’s principal fundraising event Unbroken by blindness in 1998, adventure athlete Mark Pollock was left paralyzed in 2010. Now, he is exploring the intersection where humans and technology collide and catalyzing collaborations that have never been done before to cure paralysis in our lifetime. Registration cost is $30 USD and includes a flashing armband and a Run in the Dark buff.
