Comments
What company was taking pictures in a truck around the 2 mile mark? Or are there any other pictures of the event posted somewhere?
where are the rules posted about ipods?
What time should runners arrive to check in for the 5k?
So dogs are okay on the 2K course (saw response below) but what about the regular 5K course?
No, headphones are NOT allowed.
I don't see water stations mentioned here. Are there any on the 5K course?
Dogs are OK on the 2K course; you can run the 2K rather than walk; jog strollers are OK in the 5K if you line up in the back of the pack and don't run over anyone; OK to walk the 5K but you may be asked to get on the sidewalk at some point so we can reopen the road.
Are dogs allowed on the 2k course?
Are headphones allowed?
Can you walk the 5k?
Are baby joggers allowed on the 5k route? Me, my husband, and my 10 year old son would like to run in the 5k, but one of us will have to push our 4 year old.
Can you run the 2K walk or is it strictly for walkers only?
Jillian, You may run the Tidal Basin Walk if you wish, but you will be on your own in terms of finding the route. It's an easy route, but we will not have the turns marked, nor marshals on the course. We have two people who will lead the group around the Tidal Basin. We will have maps available at packet pick-up, and it is on the Web site.
The fees for
After November 21:
