Cash Prizes for Age Groups

The awards structure is similar for both races, but unique to each distance.
Since 2009, the former "Open" category has been expanded to incorporate standard five-year age groups, and to add a 14 and under category to the 10K in recognition of the many young people who run our race.
The famous Leesburg 10K/20K cow bells, valuable gift certificates, and cash, are some of the prizes that will be awarded to the the fastest three overall male and female finishers in both races and to the top three male and female finishers in the following age groups:

75 & over

20K
19 and under

Fastest Leesburg residents
The fastest Leesburg residents, male and female, will also be awarded a prize in both the 10K and 20K.
Many random prizes from local restaurant and retail establishments will also be awarded at two awards ceremonies! You must be present to win the random prizes. The race has a history of providing great random awards.
