Back to School 8K Packet Pickup
Packet Pick-up:
Packet pick-up will take place at the Somerset Elementary School, 5811 Warwick Place, Chevy Chase, MD 20815 (just a few blocks from Wisconsin Avenue) on Friday, October 30 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on race day Saturday, October 31, 2009 from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. Race will begin at 9:00 a.m.On-Site Registration:
On-site registration will take place at the Somerset Elementary School, 5811 Warwick Place, Chevy Chase, MD 20815 (just off Wisconsin Avenue) on race day from 6:30 to 8:30 a.m. MapQuest.Parking:
Ample and convenient parking is available just a few blocks away at Saks Fifth Avenue, 5555 Wisconsin Avenue, Chevy Chase, MD 20815 and it is just a short walk to the Somerset Elementary. MapQuest. There is no parking at the actual race area on Dorset Avenue. You will not be able to park closer to the start and finish line in the Town of Somerset.
Please pick up your bib, ChronoTrack disposable D-tag, and T- shirt on Saturday and make your race experience a pleasant one!
The race will begin promptly at 9:00 AM.
Pre-registered runners should confirm their entry and note their bib number prior to coming to packet pickup. Do not forget to take a look at the list of registered runners for your bib number, and to make sure your information is accurate.
We do allow runners to pick up bibs and t-shirts for their friends. Please note that t-shirts cannot be mailed. However, it is strongly recommended that you pick up your own ChronoTrack disposable D-tag on race morning.
We only require that the proper communication occur so that you and your friend(s) are aware of the arrangement and can meet up on race day (or before). It is hard to find an individual in a crowd that size!
