Join Arts on the Horizon in Fort Hunt Park as we host our very first 5K Fun Run/Walk and 1k Kids Dash!
Meet us at 7:30am on Saturday, September 29th for some family-friendly fun. A pre-run warm-up will be lead by Fitness on the Run!
Families are invited to run or walk to support Arts on the Horizon’s arts education programs and performances. In addition to the race, we will have activities throughout the morning to offer fun ways to show your support. Some of these activities include free post race massages, free photo booth, craft tables and balloon animals for kids, t-shirts, kids’ finisher medals, and post race refreshments.

The 11th annual Wildcat 5K and Family Fun Run on Saturday, September 29 is a great way to start the fall running season in Northern Virginia.
5K Race times will be professionally provided by RaceWire.
Start times: 8:30AM-5K / 8:35AM – FAMILY FUN RUN
The 5K course is shady and scenic, going through gently rolling hills in McLean, VA. The half-mile Family Fun Run takes runners around Saint Luke Catholic Church and Saint Luke Catholic School, and then across the finish line, where they are awarded with commemorative finisher medals.
Fees: 5K – $30.00; Half-Mile Family Fun Run (ages 3 & Up) – $16
(Note: Onsite registration fees will be $40 for the 5K and $18 for the Family Fun Run)
Online registration ends September 26.
T-Shirts: If you register by September 23, you are guaranteed a race T-shirt. Add an additional race-shirt to your registration for $10.00.
Packet Pickup: Packet pickup will take place at Saint Luke Catholic School on Friday, September 28 from 3:00PM to 7:00PM.

Join VIDA Fitness at our 4th annual 5k Run/Walk! This year’s race will take place on October 13th, 2018 at 8am at Hains Point! Again, all race profits will benefit Thrive DC – a non-profit organization committed to preventing and ending homelessness in the DC area. We invite the entire community to join us for this fun, flat race through DC’s beautiful waterfront. The James Madison High School Band will be hosting the 16th Annual Vienna Turkey Trot 5K/10K and Kids’ Fun Run on Sunday, November 18, 2018. The 5K and 10K, which kick off at 8:30 am, are run on USTAF certified courses. Parents do not need to register to run with their children in the Kids’ Fun Run, which starts at 8:00 am.
