The Jingle Bell Run isn’t just a race—it’s a celebration of hope, movement, and community. Wakefield (Cut-through): This is mostly a paved path run with a short section of light gravel dirt path. The route is mostly flat, with minimal hills. The 5k and 10k are both out-and-backs.
This is a flat route with minimal elevation change along the W&OD paved trail for an out-and-back run.
Run Against Guns is a 5k fundraiser benefiting Giffords Law Center, a leading gun violence prevention organization. A student-organized run founded three years ago, we’ve raised thousands for a safer America and hope to continue this with your help. The run is on September 7th at the Rock Creek Park Tennis Center at 8am; registration is $45 with a t-shirt and $35 without.
