You will be treated to a bucket list experience and some of Austin’s finest sightseeing! Enjoy miles of Austin’s unique neighborhoods, and iconic landmarks, and be greeted by cheering crowds as you close in on the finish line in front of the Texas State Capitol on historic Congress Ave.
The 16th annual Annapolis RUN for The Light House provides scenic HALF MARATHON, 5k, and WALK routes along the trails of Quiet Waters Park and through the beautiful Chesapeake Bay-front community of Hillsmere Shores. This race event is unlike any other in the greater Annapolis area!
All proceeds from the RUN for The Light House will benefit The Light House in Annapolis, a well-known public charity working to end the cycle of homelessness and poverty.
The 5K race will be held at Calleva Farm in Dickerson. The course offers views of horses, hayfields and a big, red barn – you can’t get more country than that in Montgomery County! And breaking a long-standing MCRRC tradition, the race features a downhill finish! The location is in the far west end of the county, so please be sure to map it and allow extra travel time to get there. The course will run through the farm and then out and back on Martinsburg Road.

The City of Gaithersburg, in partnership with the Montgomery County Road Runners Club, invites all runners and walkers to participate in a 5K Run/Walk in the magical setting of Gaithersburg’s Winter Lights Festival at Seneca Creek State Park. Winter Lights features more than 380 illuminated vignettes and 65 animated displays. Runners and walkers will utilize the roads through the park during the race. Roads will be closed to traffic except for emergency vehicles and vehicles required for race management. At the finish line, enjoy some delicious post-race refreshments!
The City of Rockville, in partnership with the Montgomery County Road Runners Club (MCRRC), welcomes all to participate in this fall running tradition. The 10K and 5K are on the streets of the King Farm community for a scenic and challenging, yet rewarding, course. It is an ideal venue to cap off your summer/fall training and kick off the upcoming winter running season. Participants of all abilities are welcome.
This fun, fast 5K race begins at Bel Pre Elementary School. Participants head east on the paved trail to the first turnaround (in the church parking lot) and then return, passing the Rippling Brook trail access, and continuing to the second turnaround at Layhill Road. Return on the path to Rippling Brook and head back the same way to the finish in the school driveway.
