Rivers & Rails Marathon is a destination race in Brunswick, MD, on November 14, 2026, featuring a full marathon, half marathon, and 5K. The full and half begin at 7:00 AM, with the 5K starting at 8:30 AM, showcasing scenic rivers, historic towns, and iconic bridges across Maryland and West Virginia.

Parks Half-Marathon showcases one of the most extensive metropolitan parks systems in the country while providing runners with a competitive, top-notch race.
The race begins just before sunrise, at 6:45 AM, on a scenic Montgomery County road and quickly transitions into a tour of beautiful Rock Creek Park. As you run through the park, you’ll experience the sun rising through the tree cover and enjoy the sights and sounds of nature. Mile markers help keep you on track, and we also have an excellent pace team ready to help you reach your goals.
