Join us for the inaugural Damascus Festival of Miles, a timed loop event set in the heart of the beautiful Damascus, Virginia. This exciting race offers 3, 6, and 12-hour options this year, with plans for a 24-hour challenge next year. Race participants will complete laps on a scenic 1-mile loop through the park, with more than 100 spots available for runners to set up their campsites right next to the course.
The festivities kick off on Friday, October 3, with a half day of race prep and early packet pick-up. On Saturday, October 4, the full race day begins with live music, food trucks, and a vibrant atmosphere at the park’s gazebo, where participants and spectators can relax and enjoy the event.
The New River Trail Races are 100% dirt, flat, and entirely along the New River and Chestnut Creek in the New River Trail State Park. Each distance is an out and back course.

By offering three distinct distances – the challenging 50k+, the formidable marathon, and the accessible half marathon – aspiring to cater to athletes of varying skill levels and aspirations. These trails are technical in some areas and sure to bring you a challenge no matter your level of training. This race makes for the perfect prep for your next big local race, whether that’s the Iron Mountain Trail Races at the end of August, the Hokie Half Marathon in September, or Rim to River 100 in November.
This 50-mile trail run showcases the beauty of both the Seneca Greenway and Muddy Branch trails in Montgomery County, Maryland. The course traverses forested, rolling terrain on a primarily single-track, dirt trail. There are small stream crossings. Most of the course drains well, but parts can be muddy in wet weather.
This race is an RRCA National Championship Event. This series is the largest grassroots-organized running series in the U.S., with over 200 races participating that attract nearly 300,000 participants. The goal of the series is to celebrate well-run, community-focused events and to award top-performing runners.
