Culpeper Renaissance, Inc. is thrilled to announce the inaugural Halloween Hustle 5K & Spooky Sprint, set to take place on November 1st at Yowell Meadow Park.
This Halloween-themed race invites participants to don their most creative costumes as they run for a great cause! The 5K race will kick off at 8:00 AM, followed by the Spooky Sprint at 8:45 AM. Participants can look forward to Halloween costume awards, an exciting after party featuring food trucks, and complimentary water and bananas.

In its 11th year, the Freedom Run/Walk is held at the James W. Foley Community Center in Rochester, NH and at Anacostia Park in Washington, DC with the option to participate virtually from anywhere else!

Run 4 MK creates a community of folks dedicated to ending chronic homelessness in Washington, DC. It is a 5k, 10k, 500m kids fun run at Fletcher’s Cove along the C&O Canal on Saturday, November 15, 2025. This run can also be virtual.
The SuperH Run Walk Wheel is for everyone! Its a 5k race starting at the Onlelife Fitness Tysons. Options are to run, walk, handcycle, recumbent bike or use a wheelchair! There is also a fun walk 1 k for children and their families.
Join us for our 13th Annual run/walk to honor and celebrate the life of Kendra R. Atherton and to raise money for a scholarship fund in her name to benefit college students who have lost a parent to cancer, and who display the qualities possessed by Kendra. As of today, the k5k: A Run for Kendra has awarded over $140,000 in scholarships to students who have lost a parent to cancer.

This year marks the 30th anniversary of Food for Others – lace up and race against hunger with us!
In Fairfax County over 96,000 individuals struggle with food insecurity. Food for Others serves as part of Northern Virginia’s safety net by providing to our neighbors in need. Serving over 3,000 families and 3,900 children (Power Pack Program) a week we need your help raising awareness and supporting our work in the community.
Come out for summer fun at the Pleasant Valley Pool. Enjoy a refreshing pool swim and run with our Swim/5K Aquathlon or skip the water and stay dry with a 5K fun run! In the afternoon, we’ll once again be holding our dog swim, when the pool will be only for a dogs only swim time!

Join us for an early fall 5K at Cacapon State Park to support the Humane Society of Morgan County. The course (Rock & Roll Trail) is labeled as “easy” for all levels of runners and walkers and will take you on beautiful trail highlighting Mother Nature at her best. Families, kids and pups are invited to participate. Virtual runners/walkers can support from any location.
Join the Zebras for this Zebra Dazzle event for all fitness levels. The 5k Walk/Run has 2 options. You can participate as an onsite participant on 9/13 at Carter Barron in Rock Creek Park, NW Washington DC or as a virtual participant. Onsite gun time is 8:30! Prices will be awarded for top onsite finishers! Virtual participants can walk or run anywhere and will be able to upload their time. The 100-Mile/30-Day bike challenge is virtual only. This challenges provides the opportunity to ride 100 miles from anywhere over the span of 30 days during August 13 – September 13. You will be able to log miles as you go, so no need to ride the 100 miles in one day! Once registered, you will get race training tips and the opportunity to join various fitness sessions from the Zebras! In addition to paying for race participation, your $50 registration fee also includes the Zebra bling bag (T-Shirt and Finisher’s Medal).
