- A consortium of bicycle advocacy groups, Arlington County and Alexandria City met with the George Washington Memorial Parkway management to address the need to clear snow and ice from the Mount Vernon Trail to aid commuting. Though additional funding for snow removal was unlikely, parkway management is soliciting help identifying critical points in people’s commutes between Virginia and D.C.
