Race benefits Rockfish Wildlife Sanctuary.

Rockfish Wildlife Sanctuary (RWS) is dedicated to improving our environment through wildlife rehabilitation and raising awareness in our community about the importance of our native species.

Based at our state-of-the-art facility in Nelson County, our devoted team of wildlife rehabilitators and volunteers rescue and care for more than 900 animals annually from across Virginia. We also lead educational programming for local community groups so folks from all walks of life can learn about the importance of our wild neighbors.

This combination of animal care and education constitutes our commitment to a vibrant and compassionate future for wildlife in Virginia and beyond.

Race Start Times

10k – 1:45pm

5k – 2pm

Registration Fees

5k – $35, until November 30 ($40)

10k – $50, until November 30 ($55)

***Price will increase on race morning by $5 for each distance

T-shirts guaranteed to runners registered before December 4.  We will order extra t-shirts for those who register after that date, but it is on a first-come first-served basis.
