2024 Valley View Hard Cider Challenge 5k, 10k, & Half
Points count towards our Year-Long 5k, 10k, Endurance & Back of the Pack Series. Points will also count towards our Sippin’ Series.
Come enjoy the challenging routes at Valley View Farm, home of the Gnarled Orchard. These courses are knotty, knot nice at the farm as they are a mix of cross country, trail, and hills! Runners may also redeem their drink ticket for sweet cider, juice or soda. To see what else Valley View Farm has to offer, visit here.

Benefits Paws for Purple Hearts. Paws for Purple Hearts improves the lives of America’s Warriors facing mobility challenges and trauma-related conditions such as PTSD and TBI by providing the highest quality assistance dog and canine-assisted therapeutic programs; and by building public awareness about the important role dogs play in helping Warriors along the road to recovery.
Race Start Times
Half – 8am (Half marathon has a time limit of 3:15 for completion)
10k – 8:15am
5k – 8:30am
Registration Fees
5k – $35, until August 31 ($40)
10k – $50, until August 31 ($55)
Half – $70, until August 31 ($75)
***Price will increase on race morning by $5 for each distance
T-shirts guaranteed to runners registered before September 4. We will order extra t-shirts for those who register after that date, but it is on a first-come first-served basis.
